Bobby “Bean” Dean Moses

Age 62

Of Decatur

Passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017

From injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.


A native and lifelong resident of Meigs County, he was the son of the late Linton and Orgie Belcher Moses and was preceded in death by his wife, Marcie Pendegrass Moses; brother, Buddy Moses; sister, Ruth Elder.


Survivors include a daughter,

Four sons and two daughters-in-law,

Lee Ferrell of Decatur

Terry and Cheryl Moses of Riceville

Bobby and Synthia Moses of Athens

Justin Moses of Decatur

Step daughter,

Tiffany Rogers of Decatur

Ryan Rogers of Decatur

Five granddaughters: Jodi Moses, Jamey Moses, Destanie Moses, Aly Budds, and Averlee Moses

One grandson, Braeden Moses

Two great grandsons: Kayden Ivens and Jon Luke Ivens

Great granddaughter: Nevaeh McKenzie

The burial was held Wednesday in Spencer Cemetery in Dayton, TN. and the family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Bean I’m no good with funeral homes…so I’ll say what I have to say here..BEANER you were a heck of a good friend and neighbor..I can’t think of anytime you didn’t throw your hand up and wave hi..anytime I asked you for help or if you seen I needed help you was kids and my grandchildren loved you like you was one of the family..Bean you will be greatly missed , it won’t be the same not seeing you in your big ford truck and that grin you had on your face..or you walking around whittling…My prayers go out to your family and I send them all my love and strength. ..We love you Bean…Your friend and neighbor Tommy….GBNF Much L&R
