Gene Paul Roberts

Gene Paul Roberts, age 83, lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

He is preceded by her parents: Luther Marion and Dorothy Mae Kelsey Roberts, and brothers: Frank Roberts and Allen Roberts.

Gene is survived by his wife: Barbara Lynn Underwood Roberts, daughter: Theresa Million (Jay), grandchildren: Jacquelyn Womac (Nathan), Brandon Million (Chelsie) and Jordan Buff (Derek), Lukus Womac, Jackson Womac, and Bodhi Million, a sister: Ailene Mooneyham (Melvin), and his sister-in-law: Carolyn Henry (Dan).

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Darren Fansler officiating. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery in Athens.

Brandon Million, Dan Henry, Jay Million, Nathan Womac, Derek Buff, Jackson Womac, Melvin Mooneyham, and Lukus Womac will serve as pallbearers.
