At Tennova Hospital in Cleveland

A native of Athens and longtime resident of Old Fort and Cleveland, he was the son of the late Franklin D. Shelton and was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Self; former wife, Katie Shelton; son, Lewis Trentham; daughter, Elizabeth Gail Blacknell. He was a former employee of Con-Agra and Jackson’s Manufacturing and most recently Shelton’s Poultry.

Survivors include his mother,

   Sara Jane Grandell Shelton of Cleveland

Two sons,

   Brandon Lee Shelton and his girlfriend, Lacey Duggan of Cleveland

   Willis Lynn Trentham

One daughter,

   Rosalee Thomas

Two special grandchildren, Kaytline Rae Shelton and Cameron Lee Shelton and several other grandchildren

Two sisters,

   Dorothy Shelton Lopez of Cleveland

   Shannon Denise Shelton of Cleveland

Three brothers and two sisters-in-law,

   Ross Eula Shelton of Cleveland

   Jack Lee and Tracy Shelton of Cleveland

   Lester Howard and Elaine Shelton of Cleveland

Step father,

   James Sutton of Cleveland

Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 4:30 pm Wednesday in Buttram Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
