Passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018

At Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga

A native and lifelong resident of Meigs County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Henley and Molly Whitted Morrison and was preceded in death by a step mother, Ruth Henley; son, Gary Dake. She retired from the Meigs County Board of Education and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years,

   T. F. Dake of Decatur

One son and daughter-in-law,

   Tommy and Lisa Dake of Ringgold, GA.

Grandchildren: Mallory Dake and Kyle Smith

Half-sister, Carolyn Wattenbarger

Funeral services will be 7 pm Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Abernathy and Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be 11 am Friday in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Dake, Jim Dake, Lafayette Dake, Bobby Dennis, Reed O’Daniel and Ronnie Woods.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
