At Life Care Center of Athens
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Dulsie White Moses and was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Eugene “Poppa Bear” Stephens; daughter, Angela Stephens; son, Jeffery Stephens; grandson, Dustin Matthew Stephens; brother, Billy Moses. She was a former employee of Eureka Garment Company and was a member of Boyd Memorial Church of God. Whenever anyone would ask Miss Daisey how she was doing, she would always reply, “I AM BLESSED”.

Six sisters, Sylvia Britton, Phyllis Joseph, Linda Earheardt, Gwen Clemons, Becky Wright and Terrisa Hill.
Three brothers, James Moses, Daniel Moses, and “Bimbo” Moses
Two aunts, Lucy Gay and Judy Tallent
One uncle, Sherman Derrick
Special thank you to all the staff of Life Care Center of Athens for their love and care shown to Miss Daisey and her family.
Funeral services will be in 2 pm Saturday at Boyd Memorial Church of God with the Rev. Ollie Lankford and Rev. Steve Croft officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hank Brock, “Bod” Brock, Jose Cruze, Michael Stephens, Bill Crowder, and Brent Harbin.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
