Passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mack and Johnnie Palmer Clayton; maternal grandmother, Jane Seymore. He was an avid fisherman and played middle linebacker for the McMinn County High School football team. He loved his niece Rosella dearly.

Half-brother, Billy Pierce and wife, Jessica

Niece and nephew, Rosella Hampton and Ely Pierce

Three uncles, Gary Clayton, Bobby Clayton and Stoney Tilley

Two aunts, Veronica Small and Melissa Dalton

Maternal grandparents, Johnny and Rachel Seymore of Niota

A Celebration of Life will be 2 pm Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Niota Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Fowler, Zack Smith, Corey Wade, Conner Roberts, Cole Plaster, Devan Abernathy, and Caleb Smith.

The family will receive friends 12-2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
