Danny Lee Branham, age 64, of Athens passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, surrounded by family at his home.
A native of Ten Mile and longtime resident of Athens, he was the son of the late Brad Branham Sr. and Alvie Letner Branham, and was preceded in death by a niece; Natasha Black.
Danny worked many years at the K-25 plant in Oak Ridge, and had owned Branham Artificial Mountain Stone for 30 years. He along with his wife Kay owned and operated Kay’s Mr. Twister Restaurant in Ten Mile for 9 years, and K-D’s Restaurant in Athens for 5 years. Danny loved the outdoors and was talented in many trades. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

A daughter and son in law; Christy Shawn and Chris Callahan of Loudon.

Chris and Cali Walden of Ten Mile, Adam and Elaine Walden of Ten Mile
Four Grandchildren; Heath Callahan, Connor Callahan, Kelsey Walden and Logan Walden.

Funeral services will be 7 PM Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Walden officiating.
Burial will be 2 PM Tuesday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Ed Miller, Dewight Walden, Mark Black, Charlie Renfro, Jeff Branham, and Greg Branham.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
