James William “Jim” Bledsoe, age 54, of Sweetwater, died Friday morning, January 10, 2020, at Sweetwater Hospital. He was a native of McMinn County and was preceded in death by his father William “Buddy” Bledsoe, sister Patricia “Pat” Bledsoe Goins, brother-in-law, Leon Henson and mother-in-law, Lora Robison Evans.
Jim was associated with Morgan-Olsen Corp. in Loudon and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Decatur.
He was an avid UT Volunteers Football fan and loved watching NASCAR races, Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver.
Jim is survived by his wife, Christina “Tina” Stanley Bledsoe
His mother, Mary Grace Johnson Bledsoe
Three sons, Justin Knox, Tyler Knox and Colby Bledsoe
Three grandchildren, Cayden, Okitavia, Paisley and another grandchild soon to be born.
Two sisters and on brother-in-law, Frankie Henson, Angela Jack and husband, Tommy

Four brothers-in-law, Tony Stanley and wife, Karlissa, Terry Stanley, Mike Stanley and Samuel Stanley and wife, Samantha
Along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15 ,2020 at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow iHammonds Cemetery with Colby Bledsoe, Tyler Knox, Terry Stanley, Mike Stanley, Samuel Stanley and Chris Latham serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral home.
