JOYCE MARIE (CLINE) WILLIAMS

Joyce Marie Cline Williams, age 70, of Athens, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018, At UT Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Nell Derrick Cline, and was preceded in death by a sister Nellie Sue Bailey.  She was a member of South Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include;

Her husband of 53 years, Harold Zeke Williams of Athens;

Two daughters and spouses;

Teresa and Bill Crawford of Athens;

Shannon and Marc Swafford of Athens;

Son and daughter in law; Zeke and Lisa Williams of Athens.

A sister; Virginia Burton of Athens

Brothers in law; Jerome Bailey of Decatur, IL and Robert L. Williams of Knoxville.

Grandchildren; Jessica Jennings, Alysia Carter, Cody Williams, Trent Swafford, Jerry Lynn Keeling, Jr., and Justin Crawford.

Seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Minister Danny Guy officiating.  A graveside service will be 11 am Wednesday in South Liberty Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cody Williams, Trent Swafford, Jerry Lynn Keeling, Jr.,

Dustin Carter, Jody Jennings, and Monty O’Daniel.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
