MAMIE LUCILLE (BARNETT) FLOBERG

Mamie “Lucille” Barnett Floberg, age 84, born March 9, 1934, was called home on April 12, 2018.

She was a native of Englewood and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  She was a daughter of the late Glen Floyd and Etta Greene Barnett, Sr., and was preceded in death by her husband Leonard “Flip” Floberg, Sisters; Betty White and Fonda Ballew, and daughter in law Marion Floberg.  She had attended Nonaburg House of Prayer and set an example to all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include:

Daughters and Spouses; Debbie Floberg of Athens, Kathy and James Barr of Sweetwater, Lisa and Duane Langford of Athens.

Sons; Ricky Floberg of Riceville and Mark Floberg of Athens.

A Brother; Glenn F. Barnett of Etowah.

Grandchildren and spouses; Josh Floberg, Dana and Michael Moody, Hollie Floberg, Nathan Langford, Jaclyn and Greg Cleveland, Kayla Barr and Morgan Langford.

Six Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home.  Burial will be 11 AM Wednesday in Cochran Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
