OTHA EVELYN (M) KEY

Otha Evelyn Moses Key, age 75, of Athens, died Friday, November 10,2017, at Etowah Health Care.

 A native and lifelong resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the Henry and Arlie Morgan Moses.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Key. Also preceded in death was  six sisters, Mildred Ezell, Ruby Malone, Goldie Cline, Shirley Hutsell, Henrietta Hunt, and infant sister, Joyce Marie Moses, and two brothers, Glen Moses and Bill Moses.

Otha was retired from Collins and Aikman after 22 years of service. She was a member of Athens Free Saints True Holiness Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Audrey Key of Athens and Chris and Rachell Key of Athens

Seven grandchildren, Kayla Elgin and husband Jared, Quintin Key and wife Shelby, C.J. Key, Matthew Key and wife Kelsey, Alex Key and Brooklyn Key

Two sisters and brothers-in-law, Evetta and Walt Higdon of Athens and Linda and Harry Short of New Port Richey, FL

Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hicks officiating. Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Eric Hines officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Quintin Key, C.J. Key, Alex Key, Matthew Key, Grant Weber and Hayden Schultz.

The family of Otha Key will receive friends Wednesday, 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, prior to the service at Ziegler Funeral Home.
