Reba Delois “Dee” Neil Gamble

Passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019
At Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Lorene Hoback Neil and was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred (Al) Leroy Gamble Sr.; sister, Judy Ohman and a brother, Sterling Neil. She was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.
“Dee” was a resident of Dominion Senior Living in Athens. She was a dearly loved English and Special Ed teacher for many years at Riceville Elementary School.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law,
Al and Vera Gamble of Etowah
Sam and Kim Gamble of Knoxville
Grandchildren: Josh Hall, Crystal Huskey and Adam Gamble
Five great grandchildren: Ruth and Jane Hall, Lilly and Phoenix Huskey, and Holland Gamble.
Brother, Jim Neil of Riceville
Graveside services will be 10:30 am Saturday in Sullins Cemetery with Pastor Sam Gamble officiating, where she will be laid to rest by her husband, Alfred Gamble.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Gamble requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Att: Memorial Dept. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
