ROBERT DENNIS OTTERSTETTER

Robert Dennis Otterstetter, age 78, formerly of the Villages, FL. and New Orleans, LA.

Passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2017, after a long battle with Brain Cancer and Diabetes.

Born in Alameda, CA., he was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and LaVerne Otterstetter. He was a Navy Veteran of over 20 years and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was an avid bowler and golfer.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Darleen Otterstetter.

Children and their spouses, Lori and Chuck Wilson, Catherine and Samuel Walker, and Robert and Margo Otterstetter

Grandchildren and their spouses include: Trey and Beth Wagner, Michael Wagner, Tiffany and Shaun York, Brandon Grosz, Christopher Walker, Jennifer and John Dunlap, Joshua Walker, Kelli Wilson, Addie Otterstetter, Anna Otterstetter, Robby Otterstetter, Kristina Wilson, and Megan Otterstetter.

Great grandchildren include: Addisyn Wagner, Tyce Wagner, Zayd Wagner, and Ezryi Wagner, Evelyn Dunlap and Avery Dunlap.

Bob will be sadly missed by his family and friends. His competitive nature inspired others to do their best to try and keep up with him. He was a rock that could be depended on at all times. He leaves us with heavy hearts but as better people for having him in our lives.

Memorial services will be announced later at a later date.
