Passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018

At her residence.

A native of Decatur and longtime resident of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Lecta Moore Thompson. Peggy was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, beginning her career as secretary and retiring as C.E.O. during her 40 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter,

   Cheri Tabb of La Jolla, CA.

One son and daughter-in-law,

   Rusty and Carla Arterburn of Athens

Grandchildren: Bryce Tabb, Ciera Tabb, and Cheyenne Tabb all of La Jolla, CA.

Julia Olson and husband, Graham of Aurora, Co. and Amelia Reedy and husband, Mark of Kingsport, Tennessee.

Great grandchildren: James, Hollis, Luke and Axel

Special sister, Nadine Jarvis of Athens

Two nephews,

   Tony Jarvis of Decatur

   Tim Jarvis of Maryville

At Peggy's request there will be a private graveside for family only.

At Peggy’s request, there will be no visitation.
