At Starr regional Medical Center in Etowah
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late Thomas Clifford and Pearl Kelly Haney and was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Haney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was a used car dealer with T & L Used Cars and also a member of the Southeastern Carpenter & Millwrights. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years,

One brother and sister-in-law,
Jimmy and Darlene Haney of Athens
One nephew and several nieces.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Brown officiating. Burial will be 11 am Wednesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Judd Daugherty, Jarin Cass, Jansen Cass, Jeffery Haney, Rusty Rollins, and Frankie Massengale.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
