Passed away Monday, April 8, 2019

At NHC Healthcare of Athens

A native and lifelong resident of Meigs County, he was the son of the late Edgar Junior” and Margaret Nell Letner Whitted and was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Dodson and Betty Letner; one brother, Bill Whitted.  He retired from TVA after 40 years of service at the Bull Run Steam Plant.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Whitted

One son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Marie Whitted

Grandchildren: Halie Bidwell Tyler and Katie Whitted

Great grandson: Blaine Bidwell

Mother of his children: Marilyn Cranfield Whitted

Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday with the Rev. Max Redman officiating in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Whitted, Donnie Whitted, Darrell Whitted, Matt Lankford, Chad Lankford and Robbie Ford.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-1:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
