Armando Alberto Fernandez Pascual, age 81, of Etowah, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

a son of the late Armando Fernandez and Maria Francisca Pascual.

He was a native of Mao Valverde - Dominican Republic and was a resident of McMinn County since 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Armando Fernandez and Maria Francisca Pascual.

Armando proudly served in the Dominican Republic Army. He was responsible for driving the President of the Country. He was a gentle and generous man, always thinking of others first.

Survived by his wife of 59 years, Louisa Aquino Fernandez of Etowah

A Funeral Mass will be 3 pm Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father John Orr and Deacon Erasmo Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joel. Juan, Raul, Felix, Anibal, Armando, Christian, Cesar, Alberto, Ricardo, Victor Church, Alberto, Luis, Erasmao, Ruben, Avelino, and Miguel.

Family and friends may call after 12 noon Saturday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
