Adelia “Dee” Keller, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by family. Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
A native of McMinn County, Dee was a daughter of the late Frank and Era Webster Seargeant. She is also preceded by her first husband: Bob McKeown and husband: Wallace “Wally” Keller, son: Mike McKeown, sisters: Delia Mae Seargeant, Mary Alene Seargeant, Sis Huckabey, Joyce Cranfield, and Juanita Howard, brothers: James, Jr., Check, Duke, J.D., Cotton, and Charles Seargeant.
Dee is survived by a daughter: Kimberley Dill, a son: Wayne (Beth) McKeown, her beloved companion: her dog Katie, step-children: Rick, Rodney, and Ryan Keller and families, sisters: Lorene (Bill) Sneed and Frankie Miller, grandchildren: Deidre (Zeb) Brown, Jacob (Maddie) Curtis, Kaci (Vince) Doane, Stacy (Brad) Nokes, Steven (Fantasia) McKeown, Tylor McKeown, and Kimberly (Josh) Baylog, all of the Riceville community, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Family will gather at 11:00 AM for a graveside service on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Valley Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Athens with Reverend Jimmy Jackson officiating.
Jacob Curtis, Zeb brown, Timer Brown, Zac Sneed, Josh Baylog, and Mark Roberts will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research at Make a Tribute or Memorial Donation (komen.org)
