Adonya Ellen (Belk) Smith

Adonya Belk Smith, age 74, of the Sanford Community passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at CHI Memorial Hospital.

Adonya was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Verbon and Lillie Farmer Belk.

She was a member of the Lamontville Baptist Church for many years and was retired from the Olin Corporation after 37 years of service.

Adonya is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Gary Smith of the Sanford Community.

Sons; Trent and spouse Misti Smith, and Brandon Smith;

Granddaughter; Savannah Smith, and Grandson; Logan Wade;

Brother and sister-in-law; Curtis and Jerry Belk;

Sister and brother-in-law; Sharon and Gary Coleman;

Several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 PM Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Hammonds officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM Tuesday prior to the memorial service.
