Audrey Rose (Wheaton) Davis

Audrey Rose Wheaton Davis, age 61, of Athens, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Starr Regional Medical Center.  She was a native of Buffalo, New York and a resident of McMinn County for over 50 years. Audrey worked as a CNA.

She is preceded by her parents: Doug and Helen Wunder Wheaton, her husband of 32 years: Billy Ross Davis, and her brother: Doug Wheaton, Jr.

Audrey is survived by her sons: Terry Davis, Chris Davis (Tara), Jeff Davis, Chris Ezell, Heath Ezell (Robbin), Franklin Ezell, and T.J. Ezell, nine grandchildren, sisters: Tracy Roberts (Bob), Tammy Willis (Randy), brother: Frank Wheaton, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Eastanallee Cemetery.

 Audrey’s sons will serve as pallbearers.
