Barbara Ellen Howard

Barbara Ellen Howard, age 76, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. She retired from Shaw Industries after 30 years of service. Barbara was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Mary Lou Womac Howard, a son: Stacy Vaughn, brothers: Michael Howard and Steve Howard, and a sister: Brenda Howard Helms.

Barbara is survived by her grandchildren: Jackson Kyle, Justin Howard, Raven White, Kaydon Byrd, great-grandchildren: Eden White and Harper White, and her siblings: Tim Howard (Pam), Gloria Underwood (Terry), Cathy Walden (Faron), Mark Howard (Cherrie), Janet Woods, Carole Ware, Debbie Cate (Darrell), and Angelia Hawkins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Clear Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Justin Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Barbara’s nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
