Betty Jean Moses, age 64, native and lifelong resident of Athens, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. She was retired from Cleveland State Community College as the Evening School Student Coordinator. Jean loved UT football, traveling, good music and people. She lived life to the fullest and was a friend to everyone she encountered. Jean was the life of the party and to know her was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William Alfred “Bill” and Betty Lucille Williams Moses and a brother-in-law: Roger Walsh.
Jean is survived by a brother: Larry Moses (Kim), sisters: Sandra Cardin and Gail Walsh, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Ziegler Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Reverend Jimmy Lewis officiating.
