Betty Vivan Layman, age 82, a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Will and Ann Grubb Layman, and two sisters: Willa Layman and Joan Mac’Kie.

Betty is survived by her nephew: John G. Mac’Kie III.

There will be no formal services at this time.
