Husband, father, and grandfather, Bobby Clark, of Riceville, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on February 09. He was 78 years old. Bobby’s walk with our Lord was an essential part of his life. He was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, and church. He was born in Athens, TN on June 24,1945.
Bobby was a member of Sanford Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 49 years. He was employed with Bowater Southern Paper Company in Calhoun for 36 years before retiring in 2001. He loved the outdoors and shared his passion of farming, hunting, and fishing with his children and grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Waco and Jewel Stiles Clark. He was also preceded in death by brothers Dewayne Clark and Eldin Clark.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Loretta Blevins Clark of Riceville; children, Misty Leamon (Anthony) of Riceville, Byron Clark (Sara) of Athens; grandchildren; Conlan Leamon (Gabrielle), McKayla Leamon (Chapman Parks), Hunter Clark, Matthew Wilson (Carlie), and Ethan Clark; great-grandchild Conner Wilson, sisters; Elizabeth Howard of Decatur, Evie Masoner (Buddy) of Charleston and Ethel Reno of Englewood; as well as several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are for our special neighbors and friends who have helped these last couple of years.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Sanford Baptist Church, located at 2283 County Road 50,Riceville, TN. Services will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating.
Graveside services will be Monday, February 13, at 11:00 am in the Lower Spring Creek Methodist Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will meet at Sanford Baptist Church at 10:00 am to proceed to the cemetery.
