Bobby Darrell Cooley

Bobby Darrell Cooley, age 77, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Conasauga Baptist Church in Etowah.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Marie Childs Cooley, a brother: Johnny B. Cooley, sisters: Sylvia Rotiski and husband, Robert “Ski” Rotiski, and Sydney Jo Boland, and a sister-in-law: Diane Cooley.

Bobby is survived by his sons: Robert David Cooley, Brian Timothy Cooley and Adam Joseph Cooley, his grandchildren: Cameron Cooley, Chayse Cooley, and Lexi Cooley, a great-granddaughter: Oaklee Cooley, two brothers: Carl Cooley and Tommy Cooley (Rhonda), and a sister-in-law: Pam Cooley.

A memorial service will be held at South Liberty Baptist Church on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sweetwater Memorial Park.
