Bobby Cumbus

Bobby Cumbus, age 85, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. He had lived in many parts of the country and for several years in McMinn County. Bobby retired from the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William Paul and Willie Mildred Blan Cumbus, and his wife of 61 years: Janice Nadine Teague Cumbus.

Bobby is survived by a son: Thomas Allen Cumbus of Athens, brother: Billy Cumbus of Florida, a sister: Lillie Mae Martin of Livingston, TX, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Ruth Carlton (Gaston) of Jacksonville, FL, a brother-in-law: Earnest Gray Bryan, four grandchildren, special friends: Pat Fern and Ruth Teague along with many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19,2024 at McMinn Memory Gardens in Athens with full military honors.
