Bonnie Lou (Wilson) Bright

Bonnie Lou Wilson Bright, age 88, of Riceville passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her residence.

Bonnie was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  She was a daughter of the late Gene and Fannie O’Daniel Wilson.  She is also proceeded by her husband of 45 years James Walter Bright, sisters Gracie Bright, Geneva Swafford, and Ozella Goforth, and brother Tommy Wilson and Ira Wilson.

She was a member of the Clear Springs Baptist Church. 

She dearly loved her family and truly was a pray warrior.

Bonnie is survived by

Daughters Vicki Wilson of Riceville, Donna Bright of Riceville, and Debbie O’Daniel of Decatur;

Son Ricky Bright (Sharon) of Athens;

6 Grandchildren;

5 Great Grandchildren;

Sister Shirley Dake of Athens.

There will be no formal visitation or funeral service.  There will be a private burial service.
