Charlotte Willean (Miller) Wilson

Charlotte Willean Miller Wilson, age 89, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She lived her entire life on the Miller family homestead, which was established over 100 years ago. Charlotte attended Woodward Avenue Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years: Donald “Don” Richard Wilson, her parents: Sam and Hester Blevins Miller, a son: Robert Wilson, a granddaughter: Danielle Mazza, her sisters: Clara Grubb, Lucille Cox, Margaret Miller, Sammy Melton, Jimmie Sue Jones, and an infant sister, and her sons-in-law: Kenneth Hudson and Roger Peels.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters: Karen Harris (Don), Sheila Hudson, and Teresa Peels, a son: William Scott Wilson (Elaine), grandchildren: Michelle Wilson, Amanda Wilcox (Peter), Branden Wilson (Danyell), Adam Harris (Heather), Michael Harris (Nicole), Melinda Hudson, Joshua Hudson, Jacob Peels, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.

Adam Harris, Michael Harris, Branden Wilson, Josh Hudson, Jacob Peels, Timothy Wilcox, Jayden Mazza, Logan Wilson, Dakota Harris, Cameron Mazza and Issac Wilcox will serve as pallbearers.
