Christine Burgess Obituary

Christine Combs Burgess, age 78, a native and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Louise Sewell Combs, and her husband of 52 years: Max Wayne Burgess.

Christine is survived by her sons: Sean Burgess and Jason Burgess, grandchildren: Ashley Burgess, Kayla Hall, Kayley Burgess, great-grandchildren: Rupert Hall, Arlo Hall, and Burgess Lee, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at this time.
