Connie Regina (Dennis) Watters

Connie Regina Dennis Watters, age 71, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.  She was a passionate nurse who loved the outdoors, horseback riding, hiking, genealogy, traveling cross-country by RV and Harley Davidson with her husband, Dwight. Connie was always involved in her daughter’s and grandchildren’s sporting events as a coach and spectator.   

She is preceded in death by her parents: Conley and Nellie Pickens Dennis, her first husband: Frank Watters, and her niece: Beverly Denise Landers.

Connie is survived by her husband of 15 years: Dwight Arnold, daughters: Brooke and Paul  McWade, Spring Watters and Ryan Beckett, a granddaughter: Rylan Beckett, a sister: Dinah Dennis Fleming, a niece: Lisa Watters, and a great niece: Meghan Cates.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Greg Charles officiating. Interment will follow at Double Springs Cemetery in Athens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
