Curtis Lee Hicks, age 86, of Riceville passed away Tuesday November 9, 2021, at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Curtis was a native of Athens and a lifelong resident of McMinn. He was the son of the late King and Zenobi Stanberry Hicks. He was also preceded in death by daughter Jane Swafford and sons Dan Hicks and C L Hicks.
Curtis attended Athens Free Saints Holiness Church. He worked as a brick mason before retiring.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years June Price Hicks;
Daughters Vickie Dickson, Judy Kennedy and Gail Thurman;
Sons Van Hicks and Rock Hicks.
The family will have a private graveside service.
