Dana Sue (Hicks) Henry

Dana Sue Hicks Henry, age 51, of Athens, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare Turkey Creek in Knoxville.

She was a native of Athens and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  She was a daughter of the late Harold E. Hicks. 

Dana was employed at Amazon as a Fulfillment Associate.

Dana is survived by her husband Keith A. Henry of Athens;

Daughter Cassidy Henry of Athens;

Sons Micheal Rutledge of Athens, Cody Burger (Chasity) of Cleveland, and Tyler Burger (Jade) of Clarksville;

6 Grandchildren;

Mother Brenda Sue Buckner Hicks of Athens;

Brother Dewayne Hicks of Athens;

Several Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Ingram officiating.  Interment will follow in Meadow Fork Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Hicks, Morgan Collins, Nicky Rowland, Allen Henry, Will Henry and Jonah Bird.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Home.
