Daniel Glen Cagle, age 64, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. He was a native of Highland, California, and moved to Tennessee in 1978. Daniel was formerly employed with Tennessee Packaging as a truck driver. His hobbies include restoring antique cars, fishing, attending grandson’s ball games, and enjoying time with his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Mary Alice Ingram Cagle, a brother-in-law: Tony Thurman, and his mother-in-law: Jewell Thurman.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 19 years: Renee Thurman Cagle, children: Eric Cagle (Brittany) and Chelsea Thurman, siblings: Janet Hearron (Ronald), Sherry Sober (Buddie Beavers), and Melvin Cagle, Sr. (Jen), sister-in-law: Regina Thurman, grandchildren: Bryce Cagle and Jace Richeson, his extended family in Florida (Whom were like grandchildren): Melia, Parker, Fisher, and Cypress Newman, Maya, Skyler, Caleb, Leela and Chandler, special friends: Danny Blevins, Becky Duncan, Barbara and Norman Shock, Jimmy and Rita Quarles, Donald and Angie Petrie, Roo and Richard, Rodney Newman, Dewey Lilly, Kenneth and Karena Holman, Jennifer Lilly, Alannah, Levi, Shelby and Kyle Newman, Rebecca Bustamante, Bob and Leeann Widdis, Rob and Margaret Huber, Johnny and Sue Coughran, Tabby Cosner and his dog, “Bugs”, several nieces and nephews, along with special nieces: Myra Thurman and special nephew: Jason Thurman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM at 772 County Road 319, Niota, TN.
