Deborah Kay (Howell) Huckabey

Deborah Kay Howell Huckabey, age 67, of Hampton, GA and formerly of Athens, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA.

Deborah was a native of Flint, MI and longtime resident of McMinn County prior to moving to Hampton, GA.  She was a daughter of Betty Fay Thomas Howell.  She was preceded by her husband Jerry Leonard Huckabey in May 2007, son Stephen Mason Huckabey, brother Mark Raymond Howell and nephew Brandon Braun.

Deborah is survived by

Father Harry Jay Howell of Zephyrhills, FL;

Sisters Sherry Lynn Howell-Young of Hampton, GA,

Terry Lynn Howell-Braun of Jackson, GA

and Dawn Marie Howell of Stapleton, AL;

Brother David Michael Howell of Zephyrhills, FL;

Several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 3:30 PM, Friday May 6, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home. 

Graveside services will follow at 4 PM Friday at South Liberty Cemetery with Lay Speaker Glenn Standridge officiating.
