Dennis Michael Maloney, Sr.

Dennis Michael Maloney, Sr., age 84, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. He was a former resident of Kodiak, Alaska before moving to McMinn County over 25 years ago. Dennis served as chaplain for the Elks Club and worked as a Civil Service Engineer. He was an avid deer hunter and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.  

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jerome Clifford and Florence Keyser Maloney, his loving wife of 54 years: Mary Louise Phillips Maloney, daughter: Kimberly Ann Maloney, grandchildren: Demi Alexandroff and Destin Alexandroff Maloney, sisters: Jean Ann Ernest and Nancy Young, and brothers: Clifford Maloney and Thomas Maloney.

Dennis is survived by his daughters: Rita Berkenbile (Buddy) and Christine Pruitt (John), sons: Dennis Maloney, Jr and Steven Maloney, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a service at a later time.
