Douglas Edward Kizziah

Douglas Edward Kizziah, age 61, of Ten Mile, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Parkridge Medical Center North in Chattanooga.

Douglas was a native of Ft Myers, FL, and longtime resident of Meigs County.  He was a son of the late William Thomas and Ruby Linda Manley Kizziah. He was also preceded by an Aunt Gladys and Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law Bill and Barbara Thomas.

Douglas worked at Lazy Boy for over 20 years.

Douglas enjoyed gold prospecting and taught gold prospecting.  He loved the mountains, creeks, and military collections.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife Betsy Thomas-Kizziah;

Daughter Barbara Haley Thomas;

Sisters Linda West (Tom), Martha Roberts (Don), Liz West (Jeff), and Maedma Roberts (C.G.);

Brother Tom Kizziah Jr. (Lisa);

Brother-In-Laws Bill Thomas (Donna) and Bob Thomas (Tina);

Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Services will be at 11 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Roberts Cemetery in Ten Mile.
