Earl Tudor

Earl Tudor, age 85, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at NHC in Athens.

Earl was a native of Georgetown and longtime resident of McMinn County.  He was a son of the late Jessie and Lucy Riggs Tudor.  He is also preceded in death by his wife Carolyn McCrae Tudor and daughter Tabatha Youngs.

Earl worked for Athens Furniture Company and was a self-employed painter.  He had served in the Tennessee National Guard.

Earl is survived by

Son Mark Tudor of Decatur;

Grandchildren Anthony Tudor, Jenny Clark (LeRoy), Jeffrey Tudor (Samantha), Bobby Youngs and Patrick Youngs;

Great Grandchildren Tabatha Youngs, Carter Youngs, Kamishka Tudor and Olivia Tudor;

Brother James Tudor;

Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Garry King officiating.  Interment will follow in Hammonds Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday prior to the service.
