Edna Malissa Hicks Freeman, age 70, of Niota, and longtime resident of Polk County, died Friday, Sept 8, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Velma Pike Hicks. Edna was also preceded in death by brothers, James Hicks, Arlie Hicks and R.D. Hicks.
She was a member of Cambria Baptist Church in Etowah and retired from the H.T. Hackney Company.
Edna is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jerry Homer Freeman

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, Tuesday, September 12, at Cambria Baptist Church, located at 305 County Road 875, Etowah, TN 37331
Burial will follow in the Cambria cemetery with Edna’s sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm
