Elizabeth Ann Walker, born July 6, 1951, walked through heaven's gates on July 18, 2024, surrounded by her family singing Old Ship of Zion. She was loved by everyone that she met. Her laugh and smile were contagious. Ann loved her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and meant the world to her and could talk about them all day. She loved to read books and play the piano for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her dad: Tom Lovingood Sr. and mom: Dorine Monroe, brother: Steve Lovingood, and daughter-in-law: Dana Walker.
She is survived by son: Chris Walker of Riceville, daughter and son in law: Jason & Denise Presley of Tellico Plains. Her grandchildren include Sayla (Sweetpea) and Kaleb Pilkey, Rachel Presley (Pretty Eyes), Halie Presley (Haliebug), step-grandchildren: Brittnie Branham & Kelsie Hester, great- grandchildren: Javin, Avery & Noah Pilkey, step-great-grandchildren: Gavin, Gannon, Gabbi, Korbin & Kynlee, brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom Lovingood Jr. & Mary Ellen Lovingood, Ray & Sheila Lovingood, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with Kaleb Pilkey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Riceville Cemetery with Michael King officiating.
