Emilio Torres, 84, formerly of Athens, passed away in Glasgow, Kentucky on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico, on July 29, 1939, to the late Melquiades Torres and the late Marie (Quiroz) Torres.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023, at St Mary Catholic Church in Athens. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.
