Fannie Lou (Lunsford) Clark

Fannie Lou Lunsford Clark, age 96, passed peacefully at her home on October 12, 2023.

She was born in Athens on March 17, 1927 to the late Henry and Pearl Rue Lunsford.

Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 64 years, Chester “Check” Clark; sister Helen Morgan; brothers Albert Lunsford and Luther Lunsford.

She ran the Shady Oaks Flea Market for several years. After her retirement, she enjoyed going to yard sales, thrift stores, antiquing and going out to eat.

Fannie is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Ziegler Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, October 16, prior to the funeral service at Ziegler Funeral Home.
