Franklin “Frankie” Eugene Blackwell, 53, of Etowah, passed away on July 6, 2023. He was a former employee of Galloway Construction. Frankie loved to fish and spend time near the water.
Frankie is preceded in death by his father, Albert Blackwell and his brother, Howard Allen Shipley.
He is survived by his mother: Anna Bell Cross Blackwell, sisters: Ginger Collins (Steve), Penny McCall (Keith), Brenda Pike (Wayne), brothers: Randall Shipley (Cathy), Elmer Albert Blackwell, Frankie’s fiancée: Krystal Amos, and her children: Ashley Amos (Jessica), Justice Amos (Jade), granddaughters: Felicity, Mahala, and Delia, grandson: Zyan, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Pike Family Cemetery in Polk County with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating.
