George Joseph Brazil, Jr

George Joseph Brazil, Jr, age 88, of Lakewood, California, prior to moving to McMinn County 19 years ago, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.  He began working as a machinist for McDonnell Douglas and retired from Genisco. George served many years in the California Army National Guard.

He is preceded by his parents: George Joseph Brazil, Sr and Mary Muniz Brazil, his wife of 63 years: Patricia Dunn Brazil, son: Raymond Leon Brazil, brother: Joseph Brazil and sister: Amy Brazil.

George is survived by daughters: Rebecca Brazil (John Plemons) of Riceville and Susan Aymong of Kingman, Arizona, granddaughters: Kari Brazil, Kadi Bower (Curtis), and Kelsi Brazil, grandsons: Mark Aymong and David Aymong (Kimberly), and a sister: Mary Lou McEuin of Bremerton, Washington.

Funeral arrangements will be held in Long Beach, California and announced at a later time.
