Glenda Pearl Ray Sharp, age 81, native of Rome, GA and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was a member and Pastor Emeritus of Truth Tabernacle in Athens, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Beatrice Wilkins Ray, husband: Walter Leroy Sharp, a daughter: Karen Sharp Anderson, and a sister: Katherine Mull.
Glenda is survived by her daughters: Lorraine (Michael) Brown of Rome, GA, and Deanna Maulden of Athens, TN, her grandchildren: Scott Daniel, Faith White, Renae Massey, Charity Maulden, Jeffrey Cordle, and Rachel Anderson, a sister: Roberta Dixon (Russell) of Rome, GA, along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Anthony Scott Daniel officiating.
