Harold Dean Bohannon

Harold Dean Bohannon, age 71, of Athens, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 13, 2022, at his home.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Athens and was a son of the late Philemon “Phil” and Wanda Campbell Bohannon. Harold was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Lynda Ruth Scoggins Bohannon

Harold was a 3rd generation farmer, having worked the family farm which originated with his grandfather. He truly enjoyed cattle and working on the farm. He also was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his sons:

 William Bohannon of Louisville

 Ben Bohannon and wife, Kim of Niota

Four grandchildren:

 Raini Bohannon, Zayne Bohannon, Ryan Bohannon and Cayman Bohannon

One brother: Gary Bohannon of Athens

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 18,2022, at the Bohannon family cemetery located on the family farm.
