Herbert Emerson Lankey Sr.

Herbert Emerson Lankey Sr. age 60, of Riceville, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Tennova HealthCare in Cleveland.

Herb was a longtime resident of Meigs County.  He was a son of the late Robert Paul Lankey and Jane Walden Lankey.  He was also preceded by a sister and two brothers.

Herb worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. 

Herb is survived by his children; Jennifer Harmon, Betty Sprague, Charles "Chuck" Lankey, and Herbert Emerson Lankey, Jr., siblings, Uncle Jack Walden, nieces, nephews and dear friends David and Angie Benton, and Glenn and Theresa Palermo.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM – 12 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ziegler Funeral Home.
