Ivie Boggess Hall, age 85, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Ivie was a native of Athens and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She was a daughter of the late Cam Boggess and Emma Robbinson. She is also preceded by granddaughter Olivia Garner, sisters Patsy Murray, Ruby Rue, Faye Boggess, Emma Webb, and Mary Akins, brothers Ross Boggess, Roy Boggess, Ray Boggess and J.C. Boggess.
Ivie is survived by
Daughter Norma King (Tim) of Athens;
Sons Spencer Hall (Kim) of Ten Mile, Bill Hall (Brenda) of Athens and Tracy Hall and JoAnne Morgan of Athens:
Grandchildren Chastia Witvoet (Steven), Jordan Hall, Lauren Striker, Ali Rollings (Dylan), William Hall (Trisha), Matthew Hall (Marlissa), Scott King (Annie), and John Tyler King;
Grandson-In-Law Lucas Garner;
27 Great Grandchildren;
Sisters Ruth Bowers, Pauline Hickman (Randy), Margie Caraway (Allen), and Bobbie Boggess;
Brothers Lloyd Boggess (Judy), Floyd Boggess (Geraldine), and Jamie Boggess (Christy).
Funeral Services will be at 7 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating.
Interment will at 2 PM Friday at Clearwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Hall, Matthew Hall, Scott King, John Tyler King, Timmy Buckner, and Randy Hickman.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM Thursday.
