James McConkey Obituary

James Lynn McConkey, 84, of Athens, died on November 22, 2025. He was born in Madisonville, TN in 1941 to Robert and Cordia McConkey.

James is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Barbara McConkey, his children, Jeff McConkey, Jennifer McConkey Roberts, and Jamie McConkey (wife Amy), special friend Sharon Wilson, and his beloved grand dog, Piper.

Zeigler Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. There will be a private burial for the family.
