Janie Cantrell Obituary

Janie Patricia Parsons Cantrell, age 77, longtime resident of Athens since 1971, passed away at Life Care Center of Athens on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She attended Niota United Methodist Church.

She is preceded by her parents: Howard and Rachel Meeks Parsons and her husband of 53 years: Lowell Thomas Cantrell, Sr.

Janie is survived by her daughters: Dawn Cantrell, Julia Key (Billy), DeAnn Robinson (Daniel), son: Lowell (L.T.) Cantrell, Jr (Melissa), grandchildren: Danielle English, Amber Torbett, Paige Mroz, Chad Edwards, Amanda Key, Ashton Key, Caleb Barker, Emmaleigh Robinson, Hannah Robinson, and Rachel Cantrell, along with ten great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
