Jeannie Rana (Hicks) Blair

Jeannie Rana Hicks Blair, age 53, of Riceville, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 27, 1971, to Reverend William and Janie Hicks of Riceville. Jeannie was a lover of all things outdoors, including hunting and fishing. She was a member of Athens Free Saints True Holiness Church of Athens.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Henry and Lucille White, her paternal grandparents: Rev. Charles Roy and Etheleen Hicks, and a special nephew: Matthew Trueblood.

Jeannie is survived by her parents: Reverend William and Janie Hicks, loving husband of 28 years: Bill Blair, daughters: Sarah Weslie Blair and Brooke English Blair, son: Seab William Blair IV, sisters: Jennifer Denise Miller and Amanda Charleen Walden (Mark), a niece: Allie Walden, and her nephews: Alex Walden and Scott Trueblood.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Athens Free Saints True Holiness Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 PM with Reverend Larry Moses officiating. Brother Gene Hicks, Brother Chad Moses and Brother Allen Moses will be assisting with officiating.
